Gyokuro Tea

Gyokuro is the rolled form of the shaded green tea leaf. In the final month before harvesting, the Gyokuro tea farm is covered to avoid direct sunlight to reduce the rate of photosynhesis. This results in high levels of Theanine, a type of amino acid remaining in the tea leaves which gives  the full-bodied taste and Umami-rich sweet flavor.
