Mecha buds tea 100g (3.52oz)

I had tried mecha tea at a local cafe and was really taken with it's deep flavor and almost sweet umami taste. I would almost describe it as a brisk tea with the caffeine and astringency. This tea was exactly what I was hoping for, and has the same wonderful flavor profile. I'm really taken with it and will be ordering more when I run out!

Mecha buds is the best tea ever, to me. Somewhat bitter, full flavour and good value for the money in that a little goes a long way. I am so glad Chado Teahouse carries it.

This is my second favorite tea, a full, complex flavor.

I'm a big tea drinker of fukamushi style sencha, and I like it strong (koi). I was very pleased with these mecha buds, and sorry they are now out of stock!

Not for every one but... if you sometimes like the kick of a double expresso... then you will like this tea. If you infuse it for too long (more than 30 to 40 seconds) ... it will have too much bite so be very careful. Don't drink this tea after mid-afternoon. My favorite tea is Fukamushi so I don't mind a bit of bitterness... but be careful with Mecha Buds. To say that this tea will surprise you is an understatement. It will knock you over. Not for the meek but if you like wild adventures then you may find it worth walking on the wild side!
