Guricha is also known as Tamaryokucha and it takes only FIVE percent share of Japanese tea production and mainly produced in Kyushu region.

Guricha is grown, harvested and processed in the same way as straight-leaf Sencha, but the final kneading and leaf-reshaping process is not carried out, The leaves have a distinctive curly shape due to where they are rolled, this prevents the fresh leaves from degradation, and thus extracts a greater amount of green tea components in your cup.
