THE PACKAGING:

To ensure freshness, following Japanese green teas are packed to order in heat-sealed, foil pouches that protect against light, air and moisture.

A brewing instruction will be enclosed with your purchase to ensure the best brewing results at your home.

If you would like to send as a gift, just let us know "Gift-Message form" is available at Check-out Step 2.
We remove pricing from invoice and include your message with your gift.

WHOLESALE PRICE:

We can accommodate large orders. The price varies by the quantity you order. Please inquire wholesale price through e-mail. Inquire wholesale price

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

We currently accept VISA and MasterCard.

APPLICABLE TAXES:

There is no sales tax on tea.
Non-tea items are subject to sales tax; please refer your tax at the check-out section.

ABOUT SHIPPING:

We ship most orders within 1-2 business days from the day you place your order. Orders placed over the weekend (after 3:00pm PST on Fridays) are shipped no sooner than Monday. Shipping charges will be quoted once you log-in, at "View Your Cart"

DELIVER TO Canada:

Please allow 2 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for delivery within Canada.

DELIVER TO USA:

We ship your order from Point Roberts, WA, and shipping and handling charges are based on order weight. Our checkout forms are designed to automatically calculate the weight of your order, and then display shipping and handling rates to your zip code via USPS.
In compliance with US Customs regulations, US orders over $200.00 are shipped from Canada via Canada Post, in order that they may clear US Customs in Seattle, WA (allow approximately 2 weeks).

To International:

All international shipping charges will be quoted via E-mail once the weight of the package is determined.  Any additional import duties, customs and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If item(s) is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, simply return it within 30 days of purchase and we will replace it, exchange it or refund your money.

RETURN POLICY:

We regret that we are unable to accept returns on tea items that have been opened.

To return an item, please indicate the reason for your return on your receipt and include it with your return. (If you do not have your receipt, please indicate your name, address, order number and reason for the return on a separate piece of paper.) For your security, please ship your return by registered mail and retain your receipt. Chado Tea House is not responsible for returned items damaged or lost in transit.

Please note that we can only refund original and return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. 

PRIVACY POLICY:

he order history and inquiry are personal and confidential. We respect the right to privacy and therefore, we will not disclose, rent or sell any personal information to others.

The information obtained through the order process such as customer name, billing / shipping address, phone / fax number, e-mail address, credit card number and expiration date of  credit card will be used internally purpose only.
