Freezer, Fridge and Room-temperature...?
If you have a large quantity of tea and want to save it for a future use, storing it in a fridge or a freezer is a good idea. Divide them into small packets (make sure it is air tight), store in a freezer or a fridge. However, once you take it out from there, do not put it back again. Keep it at comfortable room temperature. That's because the tea goes into a ?gtemperature shock?h stage, and it cannot take such changes many times.

To avoid moisture going inside...
If you take out tea from a freezer or a fridge, wait to open the bag until the leaves become completely defrosted to avoid moisture going inside the bag.

If you drink it soon...
Tea will be damaged from heat, but also from a sudden temperature change. If you consume it soon, it is not necessary to keep it in a fridge or a freezer as maintaining the stable temperature is better.

Good ways to store tea leaves in general...
Avoid light, moisture and heat. Do not put them in the same container, which previously stored coffee or spice as tea leaves easily absorb those smell.  If you could separate a large bag of tea into smaller air-tight packets, it is a good thing to do!!
